A month ago I was asked to help out someone I knew in a BBQ competition on August 27th . Even though I didn't actually cook anything it was great learning experience to see how competitions work first hand. We ended up winning the competition and afterwards I was dying to turn my hands at brisket. This past Saturday I went to a local meat shop and got my hands on a 2lb brisket point (laughable right). I only have a weber kettle grill and also didn't want to try anything too big for my first time. The Brisket point came out great and was flavorful. I look forward to gaining as much knowledge as I can from this forum and please don't go too hard on me if I ask something dumb. Lol anyway peace.
