new to smoking and made mistake with Italian hot sausage

I am new to smoking and have a mes 30 and have been doing a brisket according to a post on here http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/106097/brisket-flat-step-by-step-with-qview

I also was smoking some store bought Italian hot sausage and here is my mistake; i put them on smoker at 230 for 3 hours pulled them and ice bathed them to stop shrinkage but forgot to check temp! are they ok, how can i fix this? Still smoking the brisket with at least 4 more hours to go.

Welcome to SMF!  The sausage went into an ice bath after smoking for 3 hours at 230.  They are probably fully cooked.  Heat them to an IT of 160 when re-heating them if you want to be sure.
