I'm a northeast Ohio guy 55 yo. Have loved cooking and grilling all my life. My brother in law got a Masterbuilt for Christmas and loves it. I had to get on the bandwagon fans got a Digital Electric one a couple weeks ago. So far I've done mesquite chicken breasts, two pork loins, one jerk one pretty standard rub. I did smoked asiago turkey burgers (wife raved) and lastly two big smoked meatloafs. This weekend I am tackling the biggie, a 16.7 lb. pork shoulder butt behemoth. Forums here are awesome!!

Some of my early attempts here. All pretty tasty but a work in progress. First one is one of a couple nice big meatloafs I smoked with hickory. Next time will smoke heavier perhaps but very tasty. Second are two pork loins, I injected them with a commercial jalapeno butter liquid. One rubbed with a basic brown sugar paprika rub, the other marinated in a wet Jerk / olive oil marinade. Applewood smoke, came out incredibly juicy for loins. May or may not add more smoke next time. Its all a work in progress lol :)
