Hey everyone, my wife bought me an electric smoker from Bass Pro this Christmas and I am going to try it out this weekend. I have a 6lb pork loin that I am going to smoke and I could use some hints. First, do you pre soak your chips? My dad used to for his but it was a charcoal smoker. Second, any amazing recipes to try out, i wanted to just wrap in bacon and let the grease and smoke flavor take over. Third, where do you recommend getting/finding a good selection of chips? Thank you in advance for any information.

Welcome to the forum!  Don't soak the chips!  I get my chunks from Home Depot, they have chips also.  I would invest in quality thermometers.  That loin will be done at 140-145 IT.  Wrapping in bacon sounds delish!  Use the search magnifier for pork loin, I think somebody recently smoked a loin wrapped in bacon.
