New to SMF and pretty new to smoking

Hello all, my name is Chris and I reside in the Windy City of chicago. I am a long time bbq man but just purchased my first actually smoker this summer. I have the 40" MES gen 2.5. Have been looking at some forums over the last few days while seeing what this site was all about and it has been amazingly helpful. To everyone who makes it run, you are doing a fantastic job.
