Got my pellet smoker yesterday. Lit it up today cooked 2 chickens and 2 pork loin roast. My twin 18 year old boys ate the 5lbs of pork roast. They are tough food critics. I have a pork shoulder thawing out and then a turkey. I had an old school smoker it became too much like work. I like this put it in set the temperature look at the read out and forget it. Love my Pit Boss. I have several buddies with traegers I liked the Pit Boss went with it so far so good. I like the forum learned a lot today will continue to hang out and share what I learn.

There are some mighty fine folks here that will help you as much as you want. And don't le them rib you about being from SoCal! We put out some mighty fine Q down here in the surf, sun, sand and fun.
 
I was raised with a proper southern up bringing however I grew up in so cal. So bring it.
