New to forum and smoking

Hi, My name is Jay and my new smoker is due to arrive tomorrow.  It is a Cabela's Black Masterbuilt 40 electric.  I did a little smoking in a charcoal smoker/bbq I had years ago, but haven't in a very long time.  I'm looking forward to looking through your threads for info on some good beginner ideas.  I live in the Arizona.
