41yo from Canton, GA, about 45mins north of Atlanta. Got a Masterbuilt Electric smoker Christmas '14 and have absolutely loved every minute of it. Watch the forum all the time for tips, tricks, and recipes and decided to finally post. Nothing fancy on this end with a wife, 3yo and an 8yo, but just love the taste of good smoked meat.
Had never tried until this week, but popped a 3lb Pork Loin Roast on with some remains cherry chips mixed with some hickory chips. Primed to 275deg and dropped it down to 230 when the roast went on. 1:40 later this is what I brought out. Very much a newbie to it as I primarily do beer-can chickens or wings, but love trying new things.
