Hey guys my name is Adam from Wilmington NC. I have a WSM 18.5" w a Maverick ET733. Just started smoking after I saw all these great posts on this website. My wife is a vegetarian so I am trying to find things to do for her. I've done a few pulled chuckies (thanks Bear) and a Boston butt. Love this website and can't wait for help from all of you great guys.

Welcome from SC, Adam. It's good to have you here on this great site.. There are a lot of really fine folks here who are always eager to share their ideas, recipes and tips. All you have to do is ask and keep reading.

Good luck and good smokin', Joe. :grilling_smilie:

Thanks guys. Luckily weather here only dumped about 8-10" of rain. Winds got gusts to about 85 mph or so. Luckily took the smoker in before the bad weather so didn't have to worry about it blowing away

Welcome Adam, nice to see another new face around here. For your wife I can suggest a few things, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, asparagus, corn, potatoes, in fact almost any veg is awesome smoked, even have a friend who swears tofu smoked is good I just can't make myself try it. I smoke my veg generally about an hour then finish on hot grill, or as with sprouts, and cabbage, I steam them after they have smoked for around an hour, for about 15 minutes or so in foil with some butter, and a bit of seasoning, salt and pepper generally is all they need. My wife isn't vegetarian, but tends to love my veg more than the meat shes not big on que, but indulges my hobby since I love to cook so much lol.
