I've used my new fully insulated smoker with the pellet stove/smoke generator now a few different times. The thing comes up to temperature very quickly regardless of the ambient, outside temperature. The whole intent was to create a smoker that I can leave unattended for many hours. The range hood removes 99 percent of the smoke from the covered patio also. Anyway, I just wanted to know if anybody else has experimented with something like this? With the thermostat to control the heat temperature it cycles on and off is a 20 degree window.

Interesting set up.

the thermostat in mine fluctuates about 9 degrees either direction. So it's not all the uncommon for that to happen.
