I just purchased my first electric smoker (Masterbuilt DEM 40") and smoked a 4 lb pork loin and it came out perfect. Looking forward to learning some great techniques from you all. My ultimate goal is to cold smoke a salmon for sushi, so I would love some feedback from anyone who may have tried cold smoking on this unit.

Cheers,

Ken Sanders

Welcome. Glad you found the path over here. Its like taking a cool sip of water out of a fire hose. Dont be no steenken lurker. I tends to play compooter instead of watching crappy/nutty stuff on TV..so I am always availabe to bs about stuff. Except on Weds..which is boys day out with the guys. Drag up a keg of gun powder and warm yourself by the fire..lol
