I've been AWOL for awhile. so I thought I'd stick my head in the door to let y'all know the Sheriff's Office hasn't caught up with me yet.

We had a new metal building put up and I moved all my cooking equipment out there. The contractor was short one piece of siding, but that's going to be resolved first part of next week.

The MB 44 gasser, the offset, the gas grill (modified for BBQing) and the fry table.

Umm..so you put a bunch of charcoal and wood grills on top of a platform built out of wooden pallets and plywood?

Ummm..... Think of the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of open charcoal grills on wood decks and back porches all across this country.

A 'bunch'? There's one device that uses charcoal/wood. The smoker is for cold smoking only. The fry table gets moved outside the building for fish fries and such. That leaves the gas grill which, like the offset, is always attended when in use.

Comments like yours is what prompted me to leave the forum last August. I've been back two days and get an arrow in the ass.

Yeah, thanks for the thumbs up, JC.
