I have watched for sales for quite a while, YES? They have sales!
It depends what you are looking for?
It seems the $1K is the average cost , after the sale.
Some of the bundles are decent, others to me seem to give you stuff that can be bought elsewhere or You would not buy? Sorry ? just my option.
There is a bundle on sale now for $999, But it is a scaled down model, No Wifi PID and some other stuff? Weekend Warrior its called.
Seems when they launch a new model there is a GOOD SALE!
Also before they delete a model.
The Best I have seen is over a $200 or more saving off list ,also free shipping too !
IMO: They are nice grills, but I am also considering GMG too?
Until then ? I will keep using my Gasser I guess ?

Not officially. I own it, but am still at my apartment for now. I could've broken the lease and owed 2 months rent in penalties, or stay and pay 1 month of rent. So I chose the latter, and am using that time to renovate the condo. Smoker is being shipped straight to the condo, though.

Thanks! Just hope that I'll be able to afford to buy some beef by then.
I still have a pork butt in the freezer; probably start with that, or some chicken.

Ordered this a couple of weeks ago and after what felt like forever dealing with ESTES Freight it was delivered and I put it together yesterday. Did the burn in and put some chicken thighs on after to say I did a cook. Let see how this adventure goes.

Probably in the HOA rule book that its a no go. Pretty sure they all ban all BBQ, smokers, etc. anything that makes fire.

Most places, yes. That was my main consideration when I was looking.
The bylaws here forbid only charcoal, and propane-where the bottle/tank is larger than 1 lb.
So as far as I can see, I'm in the clear. Plus I'm on the top floor, corner unit; and the deck is well away from my two next door neighbors.

If anyone complains, I'll give them some bacon.

I mean, I had an apartment and they said no propane, but I made beer on the deck with a Cajun cooker and no one noticed.

Ask forgiveness, not permission. Plus food bribes go real far!

My condo HOA sent out a letter a few years ago stating no grills allowed. We all have ground-level patios. Before I invested in a smoker I asked about electric. Even sent them the Amazon link to the Pit Boss I was interested in. It was ok'd and I haven't been the same since.
