Well my MES 40 arrived yesterday and it's all put together and ready for seasoning tonight during the game...Go Nats! It looks like it will be perfect smoking and beer tasting weather tomorrow~!
I was taken back by it's size. In a good way of course. For the last year I've been using an old Brinkman that I bought for my father nearly 15yrs ago. It worked like a champ, but the MES is in a whole new ballpark!
I'm thinking about a Cold Smoke / Hot Smoke Double header in Honor of the Divisional Playoffs. I'll start in the cool early morning with a 4hr cheese session followed by some country style prok ribs in the afternoon. I'll get the AMNPS loaded and ready to go!
It's going to be one hell of a way to break-in the MES. Thanks SMF for all of the feedback, reviews, mods and troubleshooting solutions for the MES. This site is a true Jem, and I spread the word to as many people as I can.
