New memeber from Missouri

Well I just stumbled across this website while surfing the internet and after looking through all the posts there's a lot good stuff to learn here!  I'm 23 and moved here to Missouri from Colorado about two years ago due to the economy.  I had a water smoker there but had to leave it.  Just got a new side box smoker and am looking forward to starting up again!  It'll be nice meeting everyone!

First off Welcome to SMF. You'll like it here for there are alot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are alot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So if you need sign up for the E-Course it's free and it will give you the basics of smoking and some good methods to use also. So the next big thing for you to do is go out and get you something to smoke and if you happen to have any questions just post it here and we will be happy to answer them for you.

Welcome...and speaking from experience, why in the world would you move from CO to MO, bad economy or not...I made the opoosite move and no way I am ever going back....crazy I say....great place here to learn and share information.

Haha I wish it was different but we owned a plumbing company in Pagosa Springs and the economy there is about the worst I've seen anywhere.  Buisness dried up and it got really bad really fast.  Rather than stay and fight to keep our heads above water my dad got a job out here on a deer farm and asked me to come with him.  If I can ever go back I totally will.  Miss the mountains.  Luckily we have lots of family here. 

Thanks for the welcome everyone.  I've been reading the e-course everyday as well as digging through posts.  I've found this smoker is way more efficient than my other and I need to find a wireless thermometer and thanks to the mass amount of information on here I think I've found one.  Look forward to learning more and more!
