Hey all, My name is Joe and I live in Iowa. I have been grilling/cooking for a long time and have recently gotten in to smoking the last couple years. I just purchased a new Weber Smokey Mountain and am excited to see what kind of Q i will be able to produce on it. I've been a lurker on this forum for awhile but decided to jump in and say hi.

Hi Joe, if it’s smoke related you can find it here. I bet you’ll be cranking out some awesome stuff on the WSM, and welcome to the forum!

Welcome Joe. I’m also a new WSM user. You are going to be making some great Q before you know it. The only thing that surprised me was how little air it needs to run. Most close 2 dampers and only have 1 open a very small amount (1-2mm).

Welcome Joe!
If it is food related, you can find a lot of things here.
Not everything gets smoked, but that which does not often gets something smoked added into it.

Welcome aboard. There are plenty of WSM users on site that are more then willing to help you along if you have any questions.

Chris
