Hello. I am new to smoking meats. I am an engineer and love to tinker so I started by building one of the Alton Brown flower pot smokers. I wasnt happy with that because of the poor temperature control. After learning a few lessons from the home brewry guys, I purchased and installed a PID controller. It works well enough to make me want to tinker some more.

Now, I am researching a propane setup with automatic temperature control. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Chris
