New Member in Moyock NC

    I'm Sean and live in a little town just inside the North Carolina border.  I live with my wife and son in Moyock and we love smoked meats.  When I'm home I TRY to smoke something every weekend.  I'm always looking for ways to make better smoked meats.  I prefer Beef BBQ being I'm from Texas originally.

    I have a Big Green Egg XL and I use a BBQ Guru Digi Q controller, or I used to.  I have started to go away from it just because I like working to control the temperature myself.  I have smoked pork shoulder, butt, ribs and beef brisket, prime rib, and beef ribs.  I have smoke a turkey or two and a couple of chickens.  Pretty much all your standard fare.  I'm looking to branch out and get better.

    I have already use the site for some ideas and keep coming back for more.  So I figured I should join.
