Hi, everybody. I've been learning from this forum for months, but finally signed up. I've been smoking using my Weber Performer kettle grill for about a year now, and finally got a new Old Country Pecos this weekend and tried it out. Love it! I look forward to spending many hours/beers with it!

Sounds like you have all the bases covered.. hope you get to learn all the little tricks of the new smoker in short order.
Good luck and have fun!

Welcome aboard and congrats on the new smoker. Man a Weber kettle and an offset smoker pretty much cover all the bases for you. I'm going to be moving away from gas this year myself on the grilling side. Getting a Weber kettle. I am looking forward to seeing what comes off of your Pecos. Enjoy the new pit.
