Hey everyone! Long time lurker on these forums, as I've always loved smoking, but haven't taken the dive to buy one for myself. Well that is all about to change soon! I'm an IT professional by day, but looking to fill my weekends with glorious smokes. I'm located in southern Maine, and looking to have a unit able to hold temps fairly well in our harsh winters. With that in mind, and wanting to buy local, I'm going to be taking the plunge soon and getting a Humphrey's Weekender. Looking forward to scoping out the forums in greater detail and picking up some tips. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum from another New Englander. The Humphreys looks like a fine smoker and will do well in the winter. I use my kettles and WSM in VT's winters without any issues. So the insulation on the humphreys should be a match made in heaven.

Welcome from Michigan. Never heard of the smoker you’re getting, so did a quick search. Looks like a solid unit, and it’s on sale right now, good timing!
