.
For what it is worth... I Rev/Modded my NB RedRiver :
The 'Patch on the Left side and Exhaust switched to the FB side...
You can see the top edge of my Baffle plate on the Left of the chamber...
I found some 3/16th SS plating at the Scrap Yard and made it so I could remove it to clean . To make the Pattern I took the ID and made a Cardboard circle that big , then folded it over at the top of the FB opening and lowered the opening to 3" below the grill ( this was at a 45° angle ) then trimmed the end off below the intersection of the 3" level .
I then took a rectangular piece of cardboard the width of the flat part of the other pattern and taped it in place and cut it the lenght from the rounded piece to about 2" of the end of the cooking chamber . I got lucky cutting it , I used a small disk cutter to carefully cut it out and it fit so snuggly I had to find just the right angle to get it in the chamber to use .
I've seen some with graduated size holes , from real small to bigger ... Mine is soild and seems to work great ; been using her for about 20yrs.
Hope this helps you , really I hope you understood it
not such a good narration
Let me know (PM - me ) if you have Questions . Maybe I'll get off my rearend and go take some Q-view of the inside ...
