Morning y'all...

Name is Christopher, or Topher for short (anything but Chris) - I live in Northern VA, in between Leesburg and Winchester.

Picked up my first smoker (electric) from Masterbuilt about 10 years or so ago, and absolutely loved it.  It's used, well, it WAS used, constantly every summer, and occasionally through the winters.  Unfortunately, it passed on Memorial Day weekend, but my fantastic wife was kind enough to replace it with a newer (slightly upgraded model.)  Back in business, as they say.

I absolutely love cooking outdoors, either grilling or smoking.  I'm impartial to pork shoulders, and have a pretty decent formula for some pulled pork that works pretty well.  I attempted to smoke a turkey once.  I'll try it again one day ;)

For my grills, I use both a propane and a charcoal, preferring the lump charcoal over anything.

Anyway, that's me, I'm quite happy to have found this forum, I've been lurking for a while, and finally decided to sign up.  Thanks for having me.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy, overcast and rainy looking  day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
