I have been looking into getting a smoker for years, but never had the means to pull the trigger on one. So, with my birthday coming up next month, my gf was generous enough to make the purchase for me. I am awaiting delivery on the Camp Chef 24" Smoke Vault. I did a lot of homework/reading on the unit and it seemed like a decent smoker for the price. Anyone want to give me the pros/cons of this smoker? I did read that there has been some difficulty maintaining  temps and that if this occurs you contact the company and they will remedy the problem. New burner? Has any CCSV owners run into this? In any event, im glad to be a part of these boards and look forward to learning and sharing with everyone.

Congratulations on the birthday present. The Smoke Vault is an excellent smoker.  You won't have any trouble maintaining temps.  Camp Chef has a very dedicated customer service department.  Get it seasoned up and start smoking.
