Hey all! My name is Jamey Cooley. I am a 3rd generation Pawnbroker located in Laurel,Ms. I can be found Monday-Friday at work but on the weekends im on my cattle farm where I’m a self proclaimed world champion weekend warrior of bbq. I love it. I currently use a big green and and a offset smoker for cooking at home. I have a smoker trailer ordered and would like to start doing some competition cooking as I ease into retirement. I look forward to hearing from y’all and picking your brains for bbq smoking ideas. Even tho I have one ordered I saw southcedars add for his trailer for sale and sent him a message. I hope he replies as my other one is 6 weeks out and I would like to purchase his if it is still for sale.

Welcome. There's no better way to spend your retirement time and money than competition BBQ!!! There are numerous competition folks on the forum that are very helpful (but probably won't share their award winning rub recipe with you). Good luck and I look forward to seeing how you fare in the competition circuit.
