Been smoking for a year or so have a Rec Tec mini and smoking a beef brisket for the first time tomorrow can't wait.

Rdavie315, welcome to SMF!  Glad you are here and putting the Rec Tec to work.  Let the smoker and the brisket do their thing while you do yours and forget about what's happening in the chamber.  Best way for brisket to work out right.
