I was looking for information concerning times and temperatures for smoking a variety of foods and found the Smoking-Meat.com website and this forum by doing a Google Search. I have been using a smoker for 3 years and recently purchased a new Masterbuilt Electric which has exceeded my expectations by a wide margin. I really enjoy smoking foods not only for the result but the whole process is great. I am 70 years old and  retired and this gives me something to do of value and it is fun. When I produce a pulled pork roast for the family that is juicy and tasty it gives me immediate gratification. I recently smoked half a salmon and it turned out just great. I am hoping to read and learn and try some of the methods that will be presented on this forum.

thanks and have a great day!
