New from Michigan

Hello Everyone, I am so glad I found this site! I know nothing about smoking meat, just like eating it. I have wanted to start smoking meat for a long time but my wife said she hated smoked food...That all changed last year when we went to her cousins grad party in Pennsylvania and her uncle smoked some ribs....She LOVED IT! So she bought me a smoker, its a MES40. Similar to her uncles, now i cant wait to try it out...but like i said, i know nothing! So i decided to start here, looks
there is a fantastic community of smoking Guru's here and i hope u dont mind helping me on this adventure. THANK YOU in advance for any tips,tricks and recipes that I may find here..
