Hi all, new to the forum and to smoking. Just recently acquired an egg type smoker. It's not very efficient and you can't really get enough coals in it to do much. Very similar to the one in the pic. In the near future I'm going to build a smoker. Not sure about offset or a smokehouse or what. So I'd thought I'd sign up and get some ideas and start smokin' in the mean time.
I'm down in Washington today at some relatives. They have a chat grill offset smoker. I've got a bacon cheeseburger fatty in there as we speak. My first one!
Anyways, glad to be a new member
