I have a new LUX, with Sear Box, Front Shelf and Jerky Rack on its way.

When cleaning up my old Traeger I found it impossible to clean off a lot of the exterior grease stains. Also had some ring stains on the lid of my pellet hopper that I couldn't get off.

Any recommendations on initial prep/maintenance that will make future cleaning and overall protection easier?

I've heard a coat of car wax on the Exterior? (Liquid spray over the actual wax?)

Is a coat of oil really necessary for the Interior?

Any tips are appreciated!
