This is my 2nd build 1954 wizzard, got tear down underway no hitchs yet very solid box going to use the afterburner propane burner on this one as well, been really happy with the afterburner!! one of the pics shows last years build in the foreground  smoking up some wings, I have had some good luck recently- aquired 2 other old fridges beside these 2 in great shape got them in the barn waiting for their turn to become repurposed

Cool! I like the old fridge builds - will be keeping an eye on this one!

here ya go brian these are the best i have on hand currently will include better pics on this build.these brackets are metal door tracks i picked up at a yardsale for cheap, they are drilled and pop riveted in place, most people use angle iron of some type, the smoke stack was a drive shaft off a chevy pickup.

Very nice work. Nice paint job, too.

I'm trying to figure out a way to have shelves that can be pulled out at least halfway, without falling -- the way oven racks work.

Did your first build provide any lessons that you'll be applying to this one?

c channel should work fine, check this out http://gassmoker.com/c-burner.htm  click the pictures it opens up helpful hints,i built a smoke generator spent to much money on it, then tried his ez smoke method using a large juice can that works great for me, spent to much time orignally sanding the box to perfection then used hammerrite<texured hammer finish> paint on it, that stuff put on thick is awesome spent aprox $50. on paint way more than i expected, will use the same stuff on this one as well    hope this helps
