New and ready to smoke

Hey just got an electic masterbuilt for xmas and so far have smoked a turkey which came out great and tonight I have a batch of jalapeno and pepperjack venison snack sticks in smoker. Lookingforward to learning from yall as best I can about smoking. Oh and am from SC in case your wondering.

Dont have many pics got late going in to the smoker was up til 1am before they came out. Made a few rookie mistakes 1. Had vent closed too much so didnt dry out very well 2. Casings weren't filled the best so casings loose on stick (in my defense my grinder as a stuffer sucks lol) 3. Brought temp too high at end because I had to be up at 5am to work and it was getting late. But brought some to work and they were a hit so happy for my first run .
