Recently bought an 18 inch Weber Smokey Mountain and used it for the first time this weekend.  Cooked some spare ribs and a pork loin from a hog I raised myself.  I thought it turned out great, but I have plenty to learn.  This seems like a great forum.

Welcome to the forum!

Your smoker is a very popular one around here, so there are plenty of folks to help you if needed.

Welcome to the group.  Congratulations on your WSM, you will find it is a very easy to use smoker and can be very versatile as well. I'm still using my 18.5" that I bought back in 2005 and love it.
