So 1st time this ever happened. I ran out of pellets on an overnight pork shoulder cook. 2x 10lb bone-in. Injected.

Should I continue with the cook, or toss it?

Here's the time/temp graph.
Shoulders went on at 12 midnight at 250*. You can see the time/temp where I ran out.

Edited..
I just tossed both shoulders in the bin. Better safe, than food poisoning.

Always better to play it safe.
Plenty to time to put on another and crank the heat.
But....I would have probably reloaded and let them ride.

Probably a lot of opinions on this one, and I think it’s a personal choice, but judging from your temp and timeline I would have rolled with it. But nothing wrong with the way you handled it either. Chicken I would have definitely tossed but pork or beef, naw.
