I might have tripped myself up . My Mom found some casings that belonged to my Dad and wanted me to make sausage for Christmas .
6 lbs summer sausage yesterday , sliced some this morning and the casings are stuck bad .
The package says " natural protein collagen casings " So now I know they are designed to shrink with the sausage .
Tips to get them to peel off ? Maybe gets better after some time in the fridge ?
