MIL sent me this pic.   Cooked on a outdoor wood fired oven

Can anyone identify the meat?

Why? 'Possum is good meat, tastes just like a big rabbit. Coon is good, but if its not young feed it to the dogs, if its young and fat, cook it with a pot of sweet taters to soak up that fat.

I am guessing its beaver. I can't see the photo too well but those little hand like feet lead me that way.

It's a delicacy from Andean regions of South America.

Guine pig? Dang I thought for sure it was a prairie dog because of the short little legs.
