Hi all! I haven’t been around much mostly due to the fact that I haven’t done much smoking the last year. That is all about to change after last nights dinner. I did 2 racks of BBs and a 7 lb. prime rib. Every thing came out perfect. Did the ribs the usual 2-2-1 method @ 225*. The prime rib was cooking at the same time. Brought it up to an it of 130* let it rest for almost an hour, cut and gave it a quick sear on a hot grill. Best prime rib I have ever had. Enjoy the q-view, hope you all have been well, looking forward to hanging out with you all again here on SMF!

You really out did yourself on this ... the seared ones look like the bomb .. points to you

That PR cut you got there is fabulous, my mouth is watering!

We used to have a restaurant near my work that would serve blackened PR sandies for lunch, we would never look at a menu.

Great job on the PR

Got a place near me with great meat prices. It was 14 lbs. I cut it in half. Got it for $6.50/lb also picked up a whole strip loin for $2.99/lb
