A family friend had a hog butchered and sent over a 3 packs marked “ribs” but the package was funny shaped, like it may have been a small Boston butt. So I assumed it was CSR’s.

Imagine my surprise when I opened then and discovered this!

The one at the top looks almost like a CSR loin back rib. I’m not sure what the others are. They look like St. Louis style spares but are the size of baby backs although not as thick really.

What does everyone think? Spares off a small pig?

My guess is small spares
Upon further inspection I believe so too. One of the pieces wasn’t trimmed as square as the others and look to be the rib tip that you would trim off of spares...Still not sure what’s up with the top piece though
