OK, it's my wife's 60th birthday. We're going to have 20-24 folks over (including kids, grand kids and GGK's). I'm thinking pork shoulder as pulled pork sliders (but I - just a me thing - WAY prefer beef brisket which I just happen to have a frozen 4# leftover). I'm also thinking Jeff's thick bacon raped sausage filled with cheese and a cudigi sausage fattie for appetizers. Both should satisfy the kids and adults. The kids are doing desert and veggie/fruit trays along with banners. Anything else I should include for this VERY SPECIAL DAY for this VERY SPECIAL LADY?

What is your wife's favorite meal ? You might consider some special dinner she enjoyed before, or something she orders when you go out.

Sounds like you've got the menu handled. Just checking.... is it legal to 'rape' sausage in WI? Down here in corn country we are only allowed to wrap sausage. :emoji_wink:

Whew, had me worried for a moment there. I had to go re-read my posts to see if spell check killed me AGAIN!
RE her favorites... Pork beef and lamb. My kind of girl!

Help! I've got 40 adults. That I can do. I've also got 10 kids. Age 1 to 10. I'm thinking Smores over the Webber, or Extra large marshmallows. What else can I do?

Banana boats.
Slit a banana open in its peel, load it with chocolate chips, miniature marshmallows, slivered almonds, shredded coconut, and sprinkles. Wrap in foil, warm through, and serve on the foil. Easy clean up, too !
