I did my first smoke today (7-16-2011). I did ribs, for 2.5 hours in the smoker and 1 hour in foil and little cherry juice (drink) on the grill.  They turned out well (not the best I've had but not the worst I've had). I will be trying something else later. Had to experiment with the temps as I wasn't accustom to the BRINKMANN vertical gas smoker and expected a learning curve (I know this curve will continue for a while); I had a good experience and plan on doing more. The best part was that everyone that tried them liked them!!

Congrats. Next time include some Qview for us to drool over. Something like this is fine but plated, sliced, individual bones, is even better.  :)
