Here is my first UDS build.  I would like to say thank you to my buddy Mat who gave me extra parts from his Big Poppa Smokers Kit.

I ordered a Pitmaster IQ for my BPD smoker...How  do you like it?

Thanks.  The ribs were great, I am lucky that I married someone who asked for ribs on Mothers Day!

I have had great luck with my pitmaster.  i have had it for a year now and used to have it on my Weber Kettle grill and smoke on there with good luck.  It worked great on the UDS, and held temp nicely. For the price it would be hard to beat.

Yea it look like John has really improved it with this 2nd generation... What # on the vent control are you using?   I was going to try 2 or 3.

I used a 3 on the vent control and had good luck.
