this was the first time i smoked a turkey breast. was in smoker for about 4 hours in the smoker using apple,maple chips. then finished in oven at 400 for 30 minutes. the pick is after the oven.

If I could find my B.S. flag amoungst all this Christmas decor, I'd be waiving it. No way that's your first. Man, that color is amazing !! If that's your first, somebody was paying attention in class.

I'll step up and say I'm not a turkey eater. It has a flavor that doesn't agree with me.
That is a gorgeous piece of poultry. I'm a finish in the oven fan, too.

Did you brine and or inject?

Sampled my first brined turkey today. Wow
brined for about 28 hours, in salt brown sugar and onion powder.
