I've been watching KU since I was little. About 7 years old. Yesterday I finally went to my first game at Allen Fieldhouse and the experience was phenomenal.
Kansas won 104-85 over Kansas State. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
I grabbed lunch before the game at a place called Biemers BBQ in Lawrence. It smelled fantastic and tasted great but the brisket was a bit on the lukewarm side. The fries were hot and tasted great.
The hotel, restaurant and Allen Fieldhouse were all within like 2 miles of each other so it made it very easy to get around in a timely manner. Overall a very fun trip!
