Wow John that looks awesome man! I don't think I'd have room for a salad after having a plate of that!

Nicely done my friend.
Thank you Joe for the like, and there was enough leftover for lunch the next day!

CI is a great way to cook. Meal looks right tasty!
Thank you sarge for the kind words!

John , that looks fantastic , and I'm sure it was . Nice work .
Thanks Rich, it was fantastic, thanks for the comments.

Most excellent looking CI cooks. I'd eat the contents of either pan, and leave the pan eating to Vol.

Point for sure
Chris
Thanks Chris for the like, and funny comments, I am sure John will appreciate it. :emoji_laughing:

Great looking meal, just be aware CI doesn't really like acidic foods, like tomato sauce.
You guys don't have issues with the tomatoes messing with the seasoning on the pans?
It's kind of a debunked wives tale. See link below.

But thanks for giving me the heads up. I probably should do some more cooking and seasoning before doing red sauce again. Did not affect the taste either as it had been factory seasoned and I seasoned them before doing the cook.

That was an interesting read John, I especially liked myth #3, if that were true I could probably find some cheap cast iron to buy...not sure I have enough! :emoji_blush:

I cook with red sauce in mine all the time . I clean and re-oil when I'm done . Not saying it isn't an issue , but when I see this come up , I always think " what did they do in the 50's ? "

Just for good measure we did a chicken breast with mushroom cream sauce in them last night on the grill.

New post to follow soon.

How the heck did I miss this John??? What a great cook, Like! I'm pretty sure I'll just copycat you two Johns when I get around to breaking in my skillets, got everything on hand in the pantry and freezer. Takes me a little time, I like to finish the leftovers before going on to the next cook. RAY
