my butt is sticking to the grate

The last 3 smokes I found my butts sticking to the grate and not sure why. Will oil keep this from happening? I do enjoy tasting what's stuck butt it sure messes up a good looking butt! This happens when it's time to wrap that baby up in foil. Kinda strange that I smoked 41 without sticking. I do clean the grates before each smoke but the grates look really good and kinda oily. I put the cap facing down. Come to thing about it I usually apply a think coat of olive oil but I kinda forgot to do it the last few times. (maybe I answerds my own question).

Might be a good idea to wipe them down with EVOO while they are hot.

After I scrape them and give them the wire brush treatment, I'll take a slice or two of fatty bacon and rub it over the hot grates (use tongs). The melting fat cleans the nasty off them and gives them a nice coating prior to laying down the meat.

light spray of pam before you set the meat on the grate works wonders. soemone above mentiond the Rachel Ray "EVOO" wiping too, this will work. I do it on all my grilling.
