Hi all,
After some useful advice I embarked on my build this weekend. I decided on a brick build because I had a ton of bricks leftover from some work in the garden, plus I wanted to try my hand at brick laying.
Its tiny compared to most of the beautiful big brick smokers here, and as you can see my brick laying skills leave something to be desired but it was great fun to make a start and very satisfying. I'm based in central London, UK so don't have too much space to build a bigger smoker!
Will post more photos as the build progresses.
Bottom course laid on a sturdy path at the back of the garden.
Three courses up and the bottom filled with concrete to take a hearth of 75mm firebrick.
