Mrs Bear’s Gardens
I don’t think I ever showed all these, but they look so nice from all the rain we’ve had, I figured nobody would mind.
I’ll just add my comments above each Picture.
You might find that last pic interesting:
I searched Bird Feeder hangers all over the Internet, and none within a reasonable price was strong enough to support a 5 pound Raccoon, let alone a 20 pound Raccoon.
So I got the bright idea to try a 1” Adjustable Flag Pole Bracket. It holds a 3/4” ID Steel Water Pipe, and the bracket can be adjusted in any one of 9 position angles. It really works great. The first position I tried was up pretty high, but that made it closer to the railing, so a Coon could sit on the railing & grab the bottom of the feeder, and pull it in to himself, without triggering the feeder hole closure springs, and carefully eat all he wanted. So I moved it down one click, which made it a little lower, but also pushed it out farther. I didn’t want to move it any farther out, because that would make it too hard for Mrs Bear to reach, if she has to fill them. It’s been a few weeks at that position, and no Coon has been able to get any seeds, and the squirrels have totally given up!!! So far so good!!
Hope you enjoy my Pics,
Bear

Pet Cemetery in the distance.
The Stone Garden covers the Septic Tanks, with 3 Lids & a Vent under Potted Plants. Makes it easy to find the lids when needed. Pic taken from my Smoker:

Mrs Bear's Bird Garden. Bear Jr made that fence 13 years ago out of Red Cedar.
It's holding up really good:
