Mothers day and MIL Birthday Spun pork roast

It was MIL's 89th birthday yesterday and her and Mona's Mothers Day today.

So I said I will do supper today, they were more then happy to let me do it .

So a small Centre pork roast, rubbed up with Meat Church Honey Hog for about 10 hours.

Into the BBQ on the rotisserie, with the Inkbird probe, love the no wires . Cherry and mesquite chips.

One hour in so far. Added some water to the pan under to catch the juices so they don't just dry up.

washed up some potatoes, cut in half, oiled ,added salt and pepper.
When crunchy skin, flipped and added chedder cheese and green onions.

Roast ready, wrapped in foil and into low temp oven while waiting for the spuds and gravy to finish. Yes I saved the drippings to add the the gravy.

Thanks Sean for the like and the comment

It was a good day to smoke a nice meal for the ladies in the house
( Mona, and her mother and big sister that live with us now forever. )

All were happy and I also enjoyed a touch of smoke for supper.

I don't even know when it happened but pork loin roasts have slid out of my rotation. This makes me urgently want to add them back in.

I like to do small boneless ones, nice and gold on the outside just like that one.

Even your simplest potato dishes look so damn good David!

Thanks Jack for the like and the comment

We do a fare amount of pork here , and chicken. And yes the golden outside is a pretty colour .
Thanks about the potatoes, love playing with them , and it does not get any simpler than that.

Thanks

Thanks some good cooking David! Very nice work al around!

Thanks Civil for the like and the comment

Yes just a straight forward kind of meal, so i could keep doing my yard work while it was cooking.
Inkbird Inkbird probe and timer was a big help on the rotisserie,
And the ladies were good with it also.

Beautiful meal! Glad the ladies enjoyed it!
We spent a good part of mother's day planting flowers and plants as well. I must be getting older, actually liking and picking out some flowers and plants myself.
