That is a thing of beauty! I think spinning makes everything taste better. That plate is prefect! Great post.

Thanks Randy for the like and the comment

It was a very nice meal, and the spinner is a fun cook for sure.
Thanks about the plate look and the Ladies loved the meal also.

Beautiful meal! Glad the ladies enjoyed it!
We spent a good part of mother's day planting flowers and plants as well. I must be getting older, actually liking and picking out some flowers and plants myself.

Ryan

Thanks Ryan for the love and the comment

Yes they were very happy to sit back and let me cook and serve for Mothers Day, lol Good thing I like them a hole bunch.

I also thought you would appreciate the Gravy shot on the plate. Just saying !!

Yes I always love to garden and have flowers and plants around the yard, did notice a deer also likes my Tulips, he/she mowed down quite a few of the ones out by the road, they are lucky I don't really like venison. LOL

Our last house I had lots of gardens with pathways and a pond and waterfall on a recycle pump.
I could stay out there for hours when I could and just weed and hang out.

You can sit at the adult table any time you want, and maybe do some planting after that lol
Unless it is full then the both of us back to the kiddies table.

David
If your planting plants, its must be getting warm enough for me to assume my position at the kiddie table!

Thanks Jim, it is going to be 27C tomorrow ( 80.6 F ) so it is warming up now.
We are getting 1 or 2 days like that and the others at about 15 - 19 C normal for this time of year.

So the girls have lots of the yard set up and yes the kiddie table by the lake is all ready to go.

Here is a reminder of 2 summers ago. Ha Ha

Mothers day and MIL Birthday Spun pork roast

It was MIL's 89th birthday yesterday and her and Mona's Mothers Day today.

So I said I will do supper today, they were more then happy to let me do it .

So a small Centre pork roast, rubbed up with Meat Church Honey Hog for about 10 hours.

Into the BBQ on the rotisserie, with the Inkbird probe, love the no wires . Cherry and mesquite chips.

One hour in so far. Added some water to the pan under to catch the juices so they don't just dry up.

Second hour.

washed up some potatoes, cut in half, oiled ,added salt and pepper.
When crunchy skin, flipped and added chedder cheese and green onions.

Roast ready, wrapped in foil and into low temp oven while waiting for the spuds and gravy to finish. Yes I saved the drippings to add the the gravy.
