Scored this used for $150. Owner used it only once. Any modifications I should consider?

Looks like it's already had mods done to it. I always recommend running it first and seeing if you even need to mod it. Looks like a good smoker congrats

Nice score. . . yep as Jake stated, give it a test run. Use digital thermometers inside to verify temps and go from there.

As Jake said, it appears to have been modified already. Looks like it has door gaskets, those along with the door clamps were not original to that pit. That pit also did not come with baffle plates in the cook chamber or a basket in the firebox, if you have those. These things, RTV sealant, and a water pan are about all of the mods available.

$150 is a good price...
