A friend getting Married tomorrow and having reception at the Brewery. Wont let bring food so I smoking this for him and bringing to Brewery tonight with tater salad. I used to grill and bring food up there before his Dad opened up a kitchen. I even donated a grill. We sit outside on picnic tables. What, I did not know we are not allowed to bring food now? Oh well. Had on at 3:30 and 2 hours low smoke than 250 until 165. Wrapped and in MES40 at 225. Getting ready to turn up to 250. Shooting to be done at 1 and rest until 4. Probably not get anymore pics.

Man this was a really good Brisket. Very tender and juicy. The flat is even very moist and tender. I will be taking it down to the river and feeding some friends there. I keep getting ask for my potato salad recipe. I guess I need to measure ingredients one of these days.

This my potato salad. Always goes over good. I dont measure but one egg per potato. Had extra so threw it in. Duke's and Miracle whip. Mustard. Fine chopped onions and relish. Lawry's seasoning and cayenne.

Came out looking really good Brian. Shame you can't bring food any more but that's pretty standard in places that serve food. Kinda like bringing your own beer into a bar :emoji_wink: Just sneak the goodies in the back gate. Nobody but your friends will know....

Thanks all. This brisket came out so good. Everyone enjoyed it. Guy on river today said the best he ever had and he's 78. Quite the compliment. I been really happy with my briskets since started doing the long rest and also always use a rack to keep meat above liquid. You would think meat sitting in the liquid might be better but I have lot better results with it on racks.
